Hey all!
Back again with another video, and this one is a bit different, but in a great way!
While scrolling through Twitter, I happened across some sweet Sonic art, and began to wonder "What would music for this kind of zone sound like if I could compose a track for it?" So, I reached out to the original artist, Esteban Gutierrez, on Twitter and asked if he was okay with me creating an original track based on his art. He was totally cool with it, so here it is!
According to Esteban, the idea of this art is that this zone in set in space, which is a theme that classic Sonic games don't ever really use for normal levels. Hopefully a 16 bit successor to Sonic Mania changes that someday!
I present to you all..."Moonside Mayhem" for Cosmic Dunes Zone Act 1, an original composition by yours truly!
