This is the "Nocturne in the Moonlight" from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Symphony of the Night by Konami, music composed by Michiru Yamane.

I arranged and recorded this last year. It sure is one of Michiru Yamane's most recognizable and 'epic' works and perfectly sets the mood for Symphony of the Night. I can imagine that whoever played the game realized it will be something epochal as soon as this music set in.
