In this 30-minute live stream, Jessica DiRuzza, MFT, explores the themes of parentified children and childhood wounding, connecting these relational dynamics to the astrological aspect of Moon-Chiron. However, as I mention at the beginning of the video, you do not need to have Moon-Chiron in your natal chart to be a parentified child. Parentification is not visible in the chart, just as an astrologer cannot determine if someone is introverted or extraverted by looking at their chart alone. Understanding whether someone is an introverted or extraverted Leo, for instance, grounds the chart in the context of their life. This psychological truth needs to be more fully integrated into the field of astrology.
