I have always loved skating at night. The quiet of night gives you more freedom to explore the city and yourself. The secret is simple. Less people means more room for you to skate and less fear of judgement. You can tap into what just feels right. It could be a new way of moving your body that might seem weird to someone watching. Or it could be just grooving to some tunes and cruising a tennis court. The night gives you flow.
