Moon Palace is located in Riviera Maya and only 15 minutes from the Cancun Airport.
This is a large resort - so you have to love the size, the activities, the variety to ensure this will be your dream vacation.
This resort is spread over a large piece of property, with 2403 rooms on 3 floors. But be aware - not all the buildings have elevators!
The positives of a large resort outweigh the negatives - there are 16 restaurants, 8 pools, 15 bars, a nightclub - so who can get bored!
This resort appeal to young kids because it had a water park, water slides, a teen club called Wired with games, x-box, videos and snacks.
Do you like to just sit and read a book - lots of pool chairs.
The Skybar is a great resting area with pool tables, multiple TVs so you don't miss any games, and only premium alcohol served.
I have stayed here at least 8 times over the last 10 years and I will go back!
Susan's comments: best suited for travelers who don't mind a crowd, who love to wander the grounds and love pool swimming, The beach here is not the best for swimming.
