I replace the M-1 chambers on the Monument Engine with my ED-9 engines, but their lower thrust effectively nerfs the Monument rocket, even when I partially compensate by using PEKKA's Methalox Velocis engines on the boosters in place of the RD-270s. I check out exactly what the shortfall is to see what I need to do to modify the rocket further.
