Rob Paul from CelebHeights with a breakdown of exactly how much money our household spends in a month.
See our cost of living in the UK (Glasgow, Scotland), our fixed monthly expenses list and how we manage on one wage and stick to a budget.
Our outgoings are probably not as much as you expect.
I break down all the expenses that we regularly pay, including:
Utilities like Electricity and Gas
Council Tax
Insurance Costs
Mobile Phone
Broadband and TV, even BBC TV Licence
Rent/Mortgage
All CelebHeights.com related costs like web hosting, subscriptions, photo licences and other costs are from 2020.
During 2020 this has reduced dramatically as we're not doing conventions this year so the photo ops and other convention related costs have been reduced dramatically. Normally I'd be spending 500 pounds a month on CelebHeights.com expenses, but in 2020 it's been more like £120 a month.
Figures are in Pounds and at the end I show the equivalent US Dollar value.
I work as a webmaster on my website, Jenny is a crafter making home-made cards etc.
So what expenses can I claim as self employed UK? It depends and varies, but for my website I use hosting, geolocation service, newspaper and website subscriptions for research and photo licensing.
Other business expenses might include Domain Names, advertising, equipment etc.
I can't include sneakers as Youtube expenses though.
