So last year I made an original chiptune song every day for the month of september, and I thought I'd attempt to do the same again this year!
If you want to check out last years month of Chiptune, the whole playlist is available here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoQM35u0mGbNNywjl1gGqDDeTgCweeLnC
My self imposed rules are as follows:
1 - Start from scratch every day - start from a blank project file
2 - upload every day - regardless of how I feel about what I've made that day
3 - experiment with as many different console sounds, musical styles and live instruments as possible
That's it! Hope you enjoy!
This is day one, I made this from around midnight on September 1st, took maybe 4 hours? played around with mostly genesis and GB samples, and a lot of editing to the sound to create something I think might fit in a side scrolling 2d shooter. Inspired by the music of Megaman and Sonic, as cliche as I know that sounds.
You can find me on the following websites:
If you want to consider supporting me as an artist, you can purchase my original music from bandcamp at the link below :)

![The Twelve - 12 string guitar + Gameboy [original]
So I got a 12-string guitar for my birthday, and wanted to use it for an original song. As Im also currently in the middle of a daily chiptune song project I decided to see what it would sound like mashing up Gameboy sounds with the acoustic 12 string. Creates quite a unique sound I think!
Probably my favourite guitar piece Ive put up on the channel so far! The Twelve - 12 string guitar + Gameboy [original]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/rZhx9aJEMKI/mqdefault.jpg)

![Segatar - [Genesis sound samples + Live Guitar] (Chiptune Guitar II)
A follow up to day 12s chiptune guitar - I think this one panned out better than the previous attempt! I think I can definitely push this style further and do some covers etc like this.
Ive got a rough plan for the last few days of the project, Im going to do a few more of these experiments with live instruments specifically, a harmonica, boomwhackers and possibly a bunch of different percussion stuff, bongos, shakers and stoof. Thatll be fun.
aaaanyway, this is my second of these attempts at a rock or metal sound over sega genesis sound samples. Hope you loik it lads.

![Lavender Town 64 [Gen 1 Pokemon x Mario 64 and Goldeneye 007 sound samples]
Fourth Pokemon song Ive done in this style! I tried to do something quite different here with some of the instrumentation etc, but its all still entirely using sound samples from Nintendo 64 games so....
That heavy trombone sound from Goldeneye is what I had the most fun with here.

![Bionic Commando 64 - Main Theme / Area One [remix]
Part of a one week daily song project! check out this video for more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8OuIFOWD0zU
This one was requested by one of my subscribers :)
He didnt say to use N64 sounds but uh... thats what I did anyway, couldnt help myself haha.
I only ever played the NES version of this game, so my take on this is modelled after the music for the first level of that game. Pretty awesome theme actually!
Hope you enjoyo boyos.
