I've come to realize we've been starting new eras all wrong.
A vision board shows you the life you want. A scrapbook shows you the life you actually have.
You don't start with the dream. You start with the evidence.
Your self-concept is built on evidence. A vision board with no connection to your real life doesn't give you a bridge to walk across to the next version of yourself. It's fantasy. But when you build from reality — from what's already true, already beautiful, already yours...transformation is inevitable.
That's my reverse vision board thesis. Hold that thought — we're just getting started.
