This is MontanaGrow! It is an Organic Fertilizer Additive (Scientifically termed an Enhanced Efficiency Fertilizer (EEF) Additive) composed of Silica that is mined from a rare deposit of silicon rich, non-crystalline volcanic tuff formed over 30 million years ago by a pyroclastic flow.
As an EEF additive, it will help boost/enhance your current fertilizer program by improving phosphorus availability and reducing nitrogen losses from volatilization, leaching and immobilization. More simply put, it provides a natural source of plant available silica that revitalizes the soil, improves plant health, as well as alleviates biotic and abiotic stresses.
This is something different that I haven't seen covered or presented in our lawn community, so I wanted to show it to you! If you've used this before, please comment and let us know your experience with it or Silica in general!
