Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen announced a settlement agreement with Meta Platforms Inc. over allegations that the company intentionally designed Facebook and Instagram to be addictive to minors and misled the public about the safety of its platforms.
Under the settlement, Montana has the potential to receive $127 million and is guaranteed to receive $89 million.
