The best monster fighting pokemon alternative that you've probably never heard of. Unlockable monsters, upgrades for your ranch, exploration. Monster Rancher was one great series that I'm sure a lot of people missed. Even the anime was half decent but I doubt many tried that either. This is the only game I still have the original copy of from my childhood.
