Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance is about to reveal a LOT more, with Capcom confirming the expansion will be playable for the first time at Tokyo Game Show alongside three quests, a mystery returning Elder Dragon and new Boost Bracer gameplay.

Capcom is also kicking off its new Boosted Action Breakdown series, giving us a closer look at the new actions coming to all 14 weapons in Ascendance. If the rollout is anything like the original Monster Hunter Wilds weapon showcases, we're basically entering weapon reveal season all over again.

We break down everything Capcom has announced, the mystery Elder Dragon being revealed on September 16th, what we'll see from the Skybound Eyrie and TGS demo, plus why the timing of these reveals could potentially point towards a March 2027 release window.
