The Aussie SkateCOPA qualifiers went down a couple of weeks ago at The Park in Geelong. For those with their head in a bucket in a cave at the top of a mountain on another planet, SkateCOPA is a worldwide shop team–versus–shop team skateboard event put on by Adidas. The winning shop goes to the Berrics for the grand final, and the losers… Not sure. They probably aren’t that bent of shape about it, though; it’s all good fun whether you qualify or not. Skateboarding is the winner on the day. We sent our editor, Crombie, down to check out the action and have a few buds with the competitors.
