Monolithos is an interesting level to say the least. It has fun gameplay, with very nice click sync. It's also a very diverse level, whilst keeping the Jonathan GD formula. However, that's also it's weakness. As much as I like this level to death, I cannot help but agree with Viprin. As he stated, "It's quite long, features the same style, has the classic Dual part with some cool effects here and there, and numerous more similarities. This is not necessarily a bad thing as it's a successful formula thus far. The only issue is that it inherently causes this (and his recent works) to not be as memorable as the first ones he did. I'd love to see him experiment a bit more in future works personally." (Viprin).
Jonathan's levels from here on out will begin to feel as if it isn't as special. And as much as I like this level, it feels similar to his other stuff, like Erou. I want Jonathan to eventually get out of this comfort zone, and try something new. It would be a really good breath of fresh air, even if it isn't magnificent.
