Time travel Tim visits 1998, to demonstrate some of the items he bought that year.
The 'Dog Bone Book' is a book in the shape of a bone - something every well read pooch should have!
A plastic mechanical hand which is also a sweet container. The sweets are probably past their best now though.
Tutankhamun refuses to lie down in his sarcophagus. All done with magnets of course!
A push along toy that is also a roulette wheel.
A 'stick and slip' mechanism, based around a wooden pencil and a tiny woodpecker!
Some of Tim's novelty flip books. Firstly the Mona Lisa pulls some amazing faces, then a golfer has a sad end, and finally a flip book with bevelled edges, which allows a variety of effects.
Finally a wind up toy with an eccentric weight inside and brushes on the underside, which moves in very unpredictable ways!
