"Mom, this is kind of boring."

We were watching an interview with one of our favorite personalities. He was effervescent and a joy to watch, as always. The problem?

The interviewer.

It was clear that she only had a surface knowledge of our funny friend and therefore didn't share the same appreciation for his gifts that we did.

As a result, the interview just fell flat.

He was animated and cracking jokes, but the surface fun couldn't save the lack of joy in the interview.

Our homeschools are kind of the same way. We can perform and sprinkle glitter and spend hours searching Pinterest for ways to make lessons fun, but in the end, if our homeschools lack joy, it's like putting lipstick on a pig. 🐷

That's why I invited one of the least fun 😉 but most convivial homeschool moms I know to help me get to the heart of joyful homeschooling.

In this episode of the podcast Mystie Winckler and I discuss how to:

💗Embrace short lessons and ditch the long hours
💗Add more life to your homeschool, not just school to your life
💗Encourage a cheerful and festive atmosphere in your home
💗Create a learning environment that is enjoyable for everyone, including yourself

So, if you're ready to create a more enjoyable homeschool environment, you won't want to miss this episode of Your Morning Basket podcast.

It's full of valuable tips and insights that will leave you feeling inspired and ready to take on the homeschool day.
