After meeting Bill Nitschke and crew at SCRAP a few months earlier, Losey, Nolli Aaron, New Jersey Bill and myself decided to drive from Florida to beautiful Davenport Iowa... just because.
We happened to cross paths with a young up and coming Canadian pro named Jay Miron, who was headed south (to Florida) and had stopped by Rampage on the way.
By the end of this 3 day round-trip trek, we had a new appreciation for Rick Krt and Bill's "Standard Bykes", Schmidt talk, and plans to meet up with Jay back in Florida.
Another life changing chapter, in hindsight.

Yes I posted a version of this before, but as this is the exact week it happened, I felt it deserved a better output and quality and some added humor.
