This course is all about combining Moho and After Effects. You’ll learn how to:
Add camera-style depth of field using Camera Lens Blur
Blur background elements like mountains, hills, clouds, smoke, sky, and sun to draw focus to your character
Use repeat edge pixels to fix edge artifacts on blurs
Split a single background layer (lava, trees, rocks) into foreground and background using masks and duplicates
Feather and adjust mask expansion to hide seams between blurred and sharp areas
Animate mask paths over time so your blur separation follows the camera move
Add Directional Blur to smoke layers to create rising, stylized smoke motion
Adjust anchor points and positions so the blur direction matches the movement
Apply an After Effects Glow to lava to make it feel hot and dangerous
Customize glow colors (yellow/orange), threshold, radius, and intensity for a fiery, stylized look
