Wow. Big patch!
Finally got around to experimenting with a sequential switch and CV mixing to create some movement in a musical line. Nothing amazing, but it worked nicely.

This was a pretty massive patch!
* Qu-Bit Chance and 4ms RCD drive all timing.
* Leading “bass” line is Tides. Tides v/oct driven by two channels of O+C in Quantermain algorithm, Lydian mode. A bit of fancy VC mixing here: two outputs of O+C are sent to WMD Tool-Box to be mixed in the SUM circuit before going to the v/oct input of Tides. But one of these sides is rhythmically switched in and out by the SWITCH circuit controlled by the /8 division of RCD. Further, LFSR mod CV and and LFSR prb CV parameters of both these channels are controlled by separate channels of Frames. Also, I manually change the octave of either channel A or B as the mood strikes, which provides even more variety (I need to upgrade to v1.3 of the firmware to control this with CV).
Tides SHAPE and SLOPE modulated by Chance’s blend output. BI output multed to SMR (see below) and Ripples. Ripples FREQ modulated by Chance’s stepped output. Ripples FM’d by multed input signal. Ripples output to 2hp Verb and on to sub mix.
* “Floating” random pad tones provided by SMR (using Tides BI as input) set to a concordant scale. RES input is modulated by Batumi Saw output attenuated by Quadratt. Saw frequency modulated by Sine of a different channel of Batumi. Further, clockwise rotation is controlled by RCD /7. SMR OUTs sent to Clouds #1 set to looping delay mode, triggered by /3 of RCD. FREEZE is modulated by Peaks #2 channel 1 in LFO (square) mode. Clouds stereo outs to sub mix.
(The “submix” is done in the 2M 6-channel mixer, the outs of which are sent as a stereo pair to the Sputnik 6-channel mixer). This is a very versatile mixing setup, esp when combined with the mixing capabilities of the Quadratts, Veils, Frames, etc.)
* Static rhythmic strikes provided by Elements, which is gated by RCD /2. Elements MALLET, DAMPING, POSITION, BRIGHTNESS modulated by Chance’s wavetable output.
* Melody/decoration is by the many faces of Rings, sequenced by Meta-Sequencer. Meta-Sequencer’s internal clock divider is manually changed to ramp intensity up and down during the tune. Peaks #1 is used in special “sequencer mode” to modulate Rings’ STRUCTURE control (a favorite trick of mine). Rings BRIGHTNESS and DAMPING independently modulated by channels of Frames (Frames FRAME parameter modulated by Mini-Slew). POSITION is modulated by same signal as modulates SMR RES input (multed/attenuated Batumi). Plenty of manual wiggling of these inputs, as well. Rings stereo outputs to Clouds #2 in granular mode. POSITION modulated by a Batumi channel’s Sine output and FREEZE modulated by a Batumi channel’s Square output. Clouds stereo out to final mix.
* Drums/perc yet again provided by Peaks #3 bass and snare drums and TipTop ONE (percussion strike). Snare drum is triggered by Chance’s rhythm output. ONE is triggered by RCD /3 (multed). ONE and Peaks channels are mixed to mono in a Quadratt and sent to 1U Digitank and on to final mix as a mono channel.
