I took inspiration from a great project by @BitSplits and added my own tweaks and twists. This video shows my full build process of integrating a Floppy Emu by Big Mess of Wires into an Apple Disk ][ I bought off eBay "for parts".
The changes I made to Luca's design were to add an extension of the SD card into the faceplate so the SD card would be accessible from the front as well as optimizing the fit of the components and using snaps for the PCBs to minimize the use of glue.
