Hello and welcome to what is the spiritual successor to my Shamer edit in many ways! Or maybe more like its little sibling that tripped and fell?
Either way, I can't believe Shamer is already a YEAR old? Where on earth did the time go man. And yet here I am, still feeling insane over Harada Minoru. (Don't be fooled by the lack of personal projects on my channel, I'm still very much obsessed with this stupid game !)
I couldn't go quite as crazy this year around because I was busy with my thesis and mep parts, but I still really really wanted to edit something for his birthday again... And once again I had to finish the edit in advance because I'm just never home on his day for some reason? Even though it's definitely not as impressive as Shamer, I still wanted to turn this birthday edit thing into a tradition. Since Shamer was a love mail to a coe animatic with the same song, I originally planned to edit the song of my favourite coe animatic ever for this year, but I don't think I'm emotionally strong enough for that yet... It will happen one day, maybe just not now when hearing the song is enough to make me cry lmao. SO instead, I went with another song I love by the same producer! (Who is also my favourite producer, as you might be able to tell from this.) And well, luckily the song turned out to fit my beloved quite well! It was just meant to be this way :)
Once again I tried to achieve a vocaloid MV-ish style, but I just can't quite get it right? Or maybe I'm just too lazy to get there fully, idk! I feel this one looks a little closer to an MV style than Shamer though and I quite like how my last-minute theme idea turned out in the end. Happy birthday my beautiful princess with commitment issues, anything for you! (including two days of editing grind when I have ten other things to do)

comfort edit to cope :)))
I crunched this out in like four hours, please dont expect much sgshgksdhdhfd but I really got hit by the feels and I HAD to do something about it- tbh there were a lot of songs I had ideas for, but I went with this one because it always gives me a feeling of happiness and I really need that right now. Im sad enough on my own, dont need to make it worse by editing angst, yknow?? But I still wanted to show how special this game is and the warm feelings it gives me and I hope I managed that despite everything.
To be fair, I already edited Mikrokosmos with a similar vibe before and that one was a lot... less messy, but I once again want to say how much I love this game. Im so grateful Ace rambled about it to me and I got interested for whatever reason- Its been almost two years now... and Im still here. Im struggling now with the EN server closed because Im bad at keeping up with translations, but a good chunk of that same happiness still remains just from looking at the new images. I love these characters so much and Im devastated to see them gone (in the server I understood the language of). I put so much emotional labour, money and lack of sleep into that account and I dont regret it but it still hurts to know it will all be... gone in less than 24 hours. I will miss you, my precious cards. Thank you for the great two years together.

This is such a random edit that I half made to procrastinate studying for my exams please shoot me. It does look kinda nice and these rare gays needs more attention so I hope its worth it.
Anyways this song is absolutely one of my favourites right now, its just so good and it really gives me those good friends to lovers vibes?? Im glad I was able to edit it because man this was so much fun and more raw practice is always good for me.
