Shotguns can be insanely fun in Call of Duty… but some of them are just straight-up terrible.
Today we’re breaking down the worst shotgun in every Call of Duty game — from COD4 all the way to Black Ops 7, including COD Mobile.
Shotguns have always been one of the most controversial weapon classes in Call of Duty.
They can instantly delete enemies… or completely let you down when you need them most.
In this video, I take an updated look at what I think is the worst shotgun in every Call of Duty game — starting with Call of Duty 4 and going all the way through Black Ops 7. We’re talking classic COD, modern COD, and yes, even COD Mobile.
Some of these shotguns were poorly balanced.
Some were overshadowed by better options.
And a few of them were just straight-up design mistakes.
This isn’t about hardcore or niche setups — this is about real multiplayer performance, consistency, range, damage, and why these shotguns failed compared to the rest of their class.
If you’ve been playing Call of Duty for years, you already know a few of these are coming… and I guarantee at least one will spark an argument.
