Medley (arranged by myself) of the score of the Charlie Chaplin film Modern Times (1936), as part of the series "The Sound of Cinema". Chaplin himself (who starred, wrote, directed and produced the iconic movie) received sole credit for composing the score, with Alfred Newman arranging it. This account is disputed by composer David Raksin, who claims to have written the score based on themes hummed by Chaplin. The version used in this medley is a 2015 recording by the NDR Radio Philharmonic, conducted by Timothy Brock.
