In this video I show you how to build a modern side table. With a basic dowel jig, table saw and some scrap lumber you can make this table in a few days. The top is made out of 3/4" cherry while the base is a dyed mahogany. For the finish I first dyed the base using India ink and then wiped on 3 coats of a wiping varnish. For the top I wiped on 4 coats of the wiping varnish.
