What *is* progression education, has it changed over the years, and what does it mean to grow the movement today?

Today's panel discussion is on Modern Progressive Education:

Josh Reppun is a former chef and hotel manager turned social studies teacher, who now produces and hosts the What School Could Be Podcast. He also serves as an ambassador for WhatSchoolCouldBe.org. He’ll be assisting in moderating our talk today.

Dr. Amber Strong Makaiau is a Specialist at the University of Hawaii at the Manoa College of Education. She is also the Director of the Hanahau’oli School Professional Development Center and the Director of Curriculum and Research at the University of Hawai‘i Uehiro Academy for Philosophy and Ethics in Education.

Brendan Christopher McCarthy is a scholar-in-residence in the Progressive Philosophy and Pedagogy graduate program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Previously, he was the Director of the undergraduate Fashion Design Program for Systems and Materiality at the Parsons School of Design in New York, and has hosted and collaborated with various partnerships to highlight student learning.
