Model Railroading has come along ways in the last twenty years. Of course the Achilles heal remains: - Unreliable Conductivity. The industry is not ready for complete dead rail yet, although I do believe that "Keep Alive" capacitors, also know as "Mo Power" and "Power Integration" will get us there eventually. In the meantime, I think it would be a good idea if all the major locomotive manufactures would get on board with the current technology to increase performance and reliability.
