Ok yes I know I already did a video on a toy megaphone but this one is different. I saw this one in Wal-Mart and I figured I'd get it to do a hack video.
This toy megaphone voice changer has four settings boy, old man, robot, and kid. My guess is as good as yours is to why they put boy and kid on this thing.
What I did to hack it was remove the microphone and disable the voice changer chip. This was done by scratching out the power rail trace. I then probed for the audio input to the amp and found that as well.
I soldered a headphone jack to the two wires running into the amp chip. Then I mounted the headphone jack where the microphone used to be. I added a switch and 9v battery because once I got the music playing on this thing that little 12 volt Battery didn't last long. Well I hope you enjoy this video I'd like to do more hacks but I'm just too busy. Thanks for watching l.
