Disclaimer: This film was never finished if memory serves me right, so if it doesn't feel like it has an ending, that explains it. Then again, can you even figure out what the story is about?
This is a fan film I made at the end of 2001, when Gundam was still a really big deal in America. I was about to turn 16 and was in my freshmen year of High School and and all I wanted to be obsessed with was Mobile Suit Gundam, anything I could get my hands on at the time. I loved Gundam so much that I had this creative nerve to use my grandmothers camera and a tape and made whatever the heck I wanted. There was no script, everything was off the top of my head and I went along with it.
The gunpla I have came from a friend in high school who got me engrossed in Gundam and models that I bought at Toys R Us at the time, so I used everything I had to make a movie. Everything was shot on location from my backyard and my room in Apex, North Carolina.
Against my better judgement, I've decided to upload these videos on youtube after being in a box of tapes for the past 15 years. Should they have stayed buried in a box never for the public to see? I'll let you be the judge of that. Whatever comments I get, I probably deserve them, but at least you can get some entertainment from them, that's all I ask.
