Wow, Creeper Force was a wild one.
I originally saw this level back in 2016 around the time when I had originally started playing GD. I looked at the demon list, and near the bottom was “Creeper Force”, and I saw it was 48th. I gave it a few attempts (and I mean a few, like maybe one or two dozen attempts), but because I obviously sucked back then I decided not to do much with the level. But I always liked the style this level had.
Every now and then I would remember about this level, but I didn’t really touch it, I just had it as a thought and then moved on again. But it popped back into my head this morning, so I decided to pick it up and start playing it, to finally beat it once and for all. And I was not expecting to beat this so soon, AT ALL. For something that was 48th on the list when I started playing, I never thought I would beat it the same day I picked it up. Honestly crazy.
I was super consistent at it though, to the point where it was annoying how consistent I was. Not too many deaths at the last wave, so I am happy about that. And overall this level was enjoyable for me. All in all, I like this level quite a bit, and I’m glad that I am able to appease my younger self once again. This level is pretty great, and very well designed for a level that’s basically almost just 1.8. And there was some fun and unique gameplay in it too. So, not bad. 8/10 :)
