Difficulty: This transcription, I and many commenters found, is rather difficult. Of the 13 Moana songs, I find this one second hardest, with Where You Are (both duet and solo versions) being the hardest. I hope the slowed tempo helps with mastering the difficult sections, which are tricky to play at a fast speed.

Fingering and Hand Position: I labeled all notes with the fingering I used according to this video. These markings are what I found best; if you disagree with some markings, please leave a comment explaining why. When learning this song for accuracy, focus on both what the individual fingers play and where the hand moves as a whole. (If you find the fingerings on the video too small, please download the annotated sheet music found below.)

Lead Sheet Notation: Some chords that I notated are missing the indicated root; I have two remarks about this. First, the notated root is the root I hear in the original song. Second, I felt that playing the root note where I had it omitted would either be awkward or not sound good. If you use lead sheet and find some of my markings questionable, feel free to comment below your reasoning behind your disagreements. I do not have much experience with lead sheet notation, so I would like to learn from feedback on this subject.

Pedaling: Pedal with every chord change, which corresponds to nearly every measure. I pedal beginning measure 16 and omit the pedal during the first half of the rap part.

Rhythm: This song has a swing rhythm, which closely corresponds to playing a triplet with a quarter note followed by an eighth note. This information should be useful when coordinating triplets in one hand with swing eighths in the other hand. See Measure 40 for an example.

Tempo: I found that the original music sped up slightly from beginning to end, so take note of the tempo markings.

Measures 40, 74, 82: These are examples of syncing triplets in the left hand with swing eighths in the right hand. You can play these in triplet rhythm form by playing the first note of the triplet together with the first note of the duplet, the second note of the triplet as is, and the third note of the triplet together with the second note of the duplet.

Measures 61-63: Here I pedal after I let go of the right hand and before the second half note in the left hand.
