AdventureEveryDay does not own or claim to own any of the music contained in this work.$ $Utah Scenic Byway 12 Complete Drive 4K - Most Beautiful Road in Utah Driving westbound on Utahs Scenic Byway 12, we embark on a journey through some of the most visually stunning landscapes in America. We begin at the otherworldly Hogback section, with steep drops of more than 500 feet on both sides of the road, and wind our way down into Calf Creek Canyon as we head westbound. As we continue, the byway winds through the Escalante region, where the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument unfolds with its vast, colorful layers of geological history, offering panoramic views from overlooks like the spectacular Powell Point. From there we climb up through Bryce Canyon National Park, where the famous hoodoos create a fairyland of stone, then descend into Red Canyon, where were greeted by towering, pink-tinged rock spires. After reaching the western end of the byway, we jump back to the beginning of the byway at its eastern end in Torrey, Utah just outside Capitol Reef National Park, and our drive ascends through the forested highlands of the Dixie National Forest, where the air cools and the scenery shifts to lush greenery. We finish off our scenic drive by driving the Hogback section again, this time in the opposite direction heading eastbound. This drive not only connects two national parks but also traverses through a tapestry of Utahs natural beauty, from deep canyons to high plateaus, all under the vast, brilliantly clear sky. As we travel, the highway hugs the southern bank of the Columbia River, revealing breathtaking vistas of the gorges towering cliffs and the expansive river below. The route provides glimpses of the historic Columbia River Highway, now a scenic trail, and landmarks like Crown Point Vista House, perched dramatically on a cliff 733 feet above the river. The scenery shifts from lush, moss-covered forests to more arid landscapes as we approach Hood River, all while mountains like Larch and Dog Mountain frame our journey through one of Oregons most celebrated scenic areas. We begin on Jubilee Pass Road in Death Valley National Park, and as our journey continues we head towards the Nevada border and we make our way into the city of Pahrump. After making our way through the desert the landscape transitions to the outskirts of Las Vegas, showcasing the stark contrast between the deserts quietude and the citys vibrant nightlife, culminating in the dazzling lights of the Las Vegas Strip, then a beautiful sunset as we head north out of the Las Vegas metro area and back out into the desert.
