MNL48 is a nationwide idol search for its 48 members of the first generation of the country's first ever all-female idol group produced by Hallohallo Entertainment Inc. in partnership with ABS-CBN. The competition airs every day from Monday to Saturday starting January 22 on It's Showtime. MNL48 is the sister group of Japan's top idol group, AKB48.
