This may answers some questions, may also raise more questions. Either way I always wanted to show the phase before MMD was upgraded into Ray-MMD. I didn't alter any of the original textures; they are all the same ones all the way to final render.
I don't know if it matters but I used Uncharted2 tonemapping on the final render http://youtu.be/Vxy3Inqo8Os.
