This is for ShuAke Week Day 6: Partnership

This video was finished and uploaded privately on October 30th. It was then made public on November 21st. This video was reuploaded again on October 31st because I finally found the rainbow gay diamonds prop that I was looking for and added them to the video. Lol I guess this is my "Halloween" video jk. This video was reuploaded once again on November 21st, because I forgot to add the engagement ring symbolism.

I was going to make a different music video for Day 6 for "Per Aspera Ad Astra" prompt but since I was running out of time, I have to change plans and make an easier video instead, so that I'll have some time left for my final 7th video.

Yeah I am aware that I made an MMD video of a Pit and Dark Pit version of this song a couple of years ago but that was just to celebrate Pit's birthday. And I only did the first verse of the song for that video because... well this song is a love song with Heavy Metal mixed into it, and I tend to make MMD videos with song lyrics that makes sense nowadays ya know. I didn't want to make a full version of the Pit and Dark Pit video because of that. I don't ship them. I only ship Joker and Akechi.

When I got into ShuAke and the Persona fandom, I realize that this song would fit really well for Akechi because there are 2 sides to him. His fake formal princely personality and his true edgy feral personality. AND he has complicated romantic feelings for Joker. Black Mask Akecki is feral and full of bloodlust that that him singing heavy metal on a romantic song towards Joker just really suits him man 😂

ANYWAY.... the reason why this video is for the "Partnership" is because ShuAke got engaged in this video. Joker gives Akechi an engagement ring. However there's a catch... them getting married only happens in the dream world if Joker decides to stay in it forever. After all, Maruki made gay marriage legal in the dream world. Also remember the Persona 5 Royal trailer? How Akechi and Joker are lying down close together on a pile of diamonds? I was thinking about that part of the trailer when I was making this video. The diamonds represents the magic of the "Ideal reality".

Also that little scene in the 3rd verse shows Akechi being in a limbo between life and death and Joker called out to him and tried to reach him, metaphorically pulling Akechi into the dream world. Akechi is indeed alive in the dream world but in reality, it ambiguous on whether or not Akechi is alive or dead.

In my opinion, I believe that Akechi is still alive and he's probably still alive similar to how Morgana is still alive after the PTs defeat Yaldaboath. Joker's voice and their promise were calling out to Akechi.
And thanks to the dataminers, Akechi is taking refuge in a rehab center outside of Tokyo and laying low.
