I FINALLY finished this! I should take note that making MMD MVs will usually take me about 2 or 3 weeks depending on how long it will take and how much effort is needed.

Gawsh I didn't think Smash has such an epic soundtrack like this and this is from Marth's game holy shit 😳 whenever I listened to this OST I imagine Marth being serious and piercing his enemies with his Falchion this so is freaking badass!

*sips tea* so... why did I made this video? I developed this video idea about a year ago a think. It was during the time when there was a 3rd annual Brave Heroes voting thing going on in FE Heroes. Marth never got 1st or 2nd place in the previous 2 votings... he was always in 3rd place. I wanted either Marth or Eliwood to win in 2nd place in the 3rd annual voting. The 3rd Brave Heroes voting ended with Marth being in 3rd place again and Eliwood being in 2nd. It was a bittersweet end result, I wasn't mad about it cuz I like them both (Do you know that Marth and Eliwood both have the SAME English VA? LMAO).
What I WAS mad about was how Eliwood fans were hating on Marth when they find out DURING the voting period that Eliwood was currently in 3rd place and Marth was currently in 2nd and urges everyone to take Marth out of the 2nd place spot. That is how Marth ended up being in 3rd place. Gawsh Marth is a classic legend, and the very first FE lord in the entire FE franchise. If it wasn't for Marth (and Roy) being in the Smash Bros. Melee roster, Fire Emblem wouldn't become well known and famous internationally, and FE 3 Houses probably wouldn't have existed! Marth and Roy were like envoys in Melee exposing Western players about the world of Fire Emblem. I have mad respect for Marth and I was VERY disappointed that Marth was being treated poorly during that voting period.

So I came up with this video and here are my intentions behind it:
This video is about Marth's journey and how he became known as the legendary Hero-King and the face of the FE series. The first FE game released back in 1990 called "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light" and that's where Marth (pantsless Marth lol) made his first debut. There was even an old FE anime and manga about Marth's game too. I forgot to put clips of that anime in this video AGHHH I HATE MY FORGETFUL BRAIN! ANYWAYYYY Marth was exiled from his own kingdom after his parents were killed from a betrayal and his sister was kidnapped. His sister gave him his signature tiara before they got separated, and so during his exile, Marth slowly forms an army for 2 years to claim his kingdom back (think of it as the Lion King story in a way lol). After defeating the final boss Medeus, the Shadow Dragon, Marth became known as the Hero-King from there.
His journey doesn't end there tho. There's a sequel to Marth's game where he had to face his corrupted ally Hardin (and where Marth finally started wearing pants). Marth also entered other universes like Smash Bros., Monster Hunter, Dragalia Lost, Tokyo Mirage Sessions (where he became Super Saiyan) and much more to represent Fire Emblem. Thousands of years in the future later, the Fell dragon Grima became a huge threat to the world, and a mysterious masked "Marth" tries to travel through time to find a way to stop that dragon...
This explanation I said above is why I put certain elements in that video such as the film strip effects representing old story-telling and clocks representing time travel and traveling to different universes.

"I don't want to live this destiny" - Marth didn't consider himself worthy to be a legend. He fought because he dealt with an unfortunate event that caused him to be exiled, and he wants his home back. However, everyone still sees him as a legend and it makes Marth uncomfortable (as he mentioned in FE Warriors)
"It goes on endlessly!" - Marth has no choice but to fight even though he doesn't want to fight and he's been fighting in soooo many video gamesss in different universesss
"This love this hate is burning me away" - The Love comes from Marth's exhaustion of having this role as a "Legend" whom everyone looks up to. The Hate comes from ungrateful FE fans hating on Marth that I mentioned before.

Btw the only characters from Marth's game that I can get in MMD is Tiki and Caeda. Tiki is the little divine dragon girl that helped Marth in his journey. She's really fond of Marth but since she can live for thousands of years and Marth couldn't, she misses him a lot when Marth eventually dies of age. Caeda also helped Marth in his journey and she also eventually became Marth's wife in the end.
