TLDR: The MMB TV 2.0 is a budget-friendly AI Box that, although it may not be the most powerful, is more than capable of streaming video onto your CarPlay display from apps such as YouTube and Netflix. This AI Box is open, so it has access to the Google Play Store to download your favourite apps. Some apps might now show up as downloadable due to the adapter's Android 9 platform, but you're also able to sideload app files from the many APK websites. Video performance is decent, with little delay on my modern CarPlay system. Performance on other systems, however, might vary. One thing is for sure, the TV 2.0's low entry specs limit this adapter's multi-task and navigate apps quickly. It has one of the longest boot-up times tested, and launching apps isn't the quickest either. If you have the patience to work around its limited performance, the TV 2.0 is a capable AI Box for those on a limited budget. But stretch another $50 as you are soon among AI Boxes with a much faster experience.
