another infected au thing
this one is actually something I have written down this time
basically during the "cutie remark" in one of the alternate timelines she gets bitten by an infected pony, things seem to go back to normal once Starlight was reformed in shit then she started noticing weird symptoms and blackening around the bite mark. she gets concerned because the pony who bit her was clearly infected with something that altered the mind, and it spread to her. so Rarity takes in spike and Fluttershy takes in Twilight's owl pet while she tries to make a cure. she barricades herself in her castle, but after a few days of being away without disclosing why, Fluttershy gets concerned. Rarity had been away for a little bit too shortly after Twilight gave her spike to take care of. She goes to check on Rarity to find out she got infected from Spike, who got infected from Twilight because the virus was airborne as well.
Fluttershy survives this au btw ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ she isn't around Rarity long enough to get exposed to the virus and the owl wasn't able to get infected by it. Discord takes her in as soon as he found out about the virus outbreak.
I'm calling this a virus but I might change it to some kind of demon possession because all the infected are sort of a hive mind, but since Twilight was the first infected in this timeline the other infected worshipped her in some kind of cult but idk yet. might change it idk, but I do really like spiritual themes

Im pretty proud of this. I had fun. didnt even need 5 Red Bulls worth of caffeine to make this! and yeah, I would usually get large ice Capps from Tim Hortons, which has the same amount of caffeine as 5.6 Red Bulls. so thats why I struggle to animate without it. lmaooo
