This series of reviews is LOOSELY based on Disney’s Frozen. PREVIOUSLY: Diamond Mint is a unicorn with power over snow and ice (think Queen Elsa). Queen Chrysalis uses an amulet to amplify Diamond’s magic and freeze Equestria—creating “pony popsicles filled with love” to sustain her changling subjects.
As Pinkie Pie and Rarity were near Diamond’s palace during the attack, they were frozen solid! While “relocating” mailboxes, Derpy stumbled upon the two and managed to transport both ice-cubed ponies to Twilight Sparkle’s Castle. After recounting her delivery of an Amplification Amulet to Chrysalis in the Changling Kingdom, Zecora determines the only way to reverse the amulet’s effects is to create an elixir.
It is now up to Derpy and Princess Twilight Sparkle to collect the three ingredients from faraway lands: enchanted mushrooms from Zardenia, a pearl from the Monster Deep, and firestone from the Rock Temple.
Can Derpy and the gang reverse the spell and save Equestria?
