Nothing personal.
We just couldn't risk these guys ruining the Phillies' season.

So we did what any reasonable Philadelphian would do:
Handed Juan Soto, Freddie Freeman and Pete Crow-Armstrong their very own Rocky statues dressed in their team's jersey.

Is that exactlyyy how the curse works, not really. Is it worth a shot anyway? Absolutely.

Note: Mike Trout was spared. We don't mess with the possibility of a future Phillie.

Now the important question:
