note: this is a beta. normally I would reserve showcase videos for v1.0s, but I am happy with how this current version is + I have no ideas or motivation to remake this yet

I originally intended to make this in may 2022 for the last edition of davidslane's "first come, first serve" event, where I chose planet as my theme, but I never actually started on the track until july when mountain became the winning theme for the 43rd custom track jam. while I did make a great amount of progress, the track was still too unfinished for me to be comfortable submitting it. fast forward to around november, I find the motivation to finish the model. fast forward once again to january, I made some final touches. I could've released this sooner, but something felt weird to me about posting something arguably more dated out of the blue. I guess april fools day is as "out of the blue" as any other day, but it gives me the excuse to post a bunch of other unreleased (mostly joke) tracks at the same time and pass it off as funny or something
