This is my first CT 3lap TAS. Didn't spend much time on this but it was fun to find out what the best lines and strats were like for TAS.
On the bridge, if you touched the top of the third boost panel, your speed would drop to 100 km/h in the air so I tricked off the edge of that to keep my speed constant. I know there are some points which need more optimization on lap 1 and surely believe that sub 2:00 is viable.

Speedometer show my moving speed for horizontal axis.
This project began when we realized that Superslide would be useful on this track as well. At first, I thought about completing the run with Wario Bike (because it is good at Superslide), but found that it lost a lot of time in the second half of the course, after the box shortcut, because it is an Outward Drifting Bike. I tried again with Dolphin Dasher which is the next most stable with superslide, and with the help of a few others (Ejay B, Kierio, and Aoiro) we managed to get a 29.517, which was ahead of my best time of 30.221 with Wario Bike. Then, at the beginning of November, I found a new shortcut strat using two shrooms that saves 1.0s over 1 shroom box clip, and with the help of some people (Ejay B, Jellopuff, ego, Kierio, sorry, and Aoiro), we ended up getting a 28.423.
About the shortcut:
This shortcut can be achieved by using two shrooms and landing on the edge of OOB with sustained shroom boost and a big bounce. The location where you have to land is severe, but when it comes to getting a bounce, it can easily be done by keeping the vertical stick input in neutral while in the air.
If asked if it can be done in RTA, I would say it is not impossible. The only difficult part, as I said earlier, is the position of the landing, and with a vehicle which has more speed like Spear or Bowser Bike, it should be mush easier to accomplish.
Edit: After some testing with Bowser Bike, I found that I needed to adjust the up/down input before landing to get a big bounce, and to successfully shortcut with two shrooms, you have to use the second shroom as late as possible. So it would be not realistic to do this in RTA.

Superhopが使える場所をいくつかまとめてみました。こう見るとSupergrindよりぶっ壊れてる気がしますね。
Superhopを始める手前でミニターボ解放を避けているのは、ミニターボの切れ際の減速がスピンドリフトの滞空時間と重なると空中であまり加速できなかったためです(もしかしたらやり方が悪かっただけかも...)。あと64BCの螺旋状の上り坂はトゥインクルスターの場合、普通にドリフトで進んだ方が速い気がします。
どのコースもまだまだ走法が見つかると思うのでこれからに期待です。

After 4 years since the original Ultra Shortcut strat was discovered, it can finally be done without respawn.
And for 3lap run, this means we can do the Ultra Shortcut for two times (2 shroom respawnless ultra, and then 1 shroom respawn ultra) which would save a lot of time.
Simply put, these shortcuts were accomplished by clipping off the pole in a high place.
Here are a few things to trigger insanely high ejection:
First, I found that stick inputs during RFH (Rapid Fire Hop) affect how high you can eject when you stop the RFH, specifically turning the stick on every other frame rather than every frame will increase the speed for vertically upward at the following ejection. In the first few seconds of the RFH, the angle of the vehicle should be adjusted to the left, so that I can turn left every other frame as long as possible just before the ejection while clearing the leftward angle required for the pole clip.
Second, if you land on the rail with upward speed, the rail gives you additional upper speed (which can be said to get a bounce from the rail). In this case I ejected from the RFH with 37 upward speed and the rail gave me around 41 upward speed which significantly helped to get high pole clips.
And third, drifting right when ejecting helps to get a height as well.
A combination of these made these shortcut strats possible.

高い位置でポールに当たれたおかげでなんとか対岸まで届くことができました。ただまさかキノコ1つでショートカットできるとは思ってなかったです。
これで3周のTASは3周中 2周ショートカットができることになりました。完成が待ち遠しいですね。

Well, the main key to this shortcut is obviously the red mushroom object put near the goal pole. By getting on it I was able to get enough height to clear the invisible wall while keeping almost all External Velocity I got from Supergrind. And hitting the top of the invisible wall with lots of EV gave me some extra sideways speed and height in the air, and made me clear the big gap.
The reason why Im using Wario Bike is because it can perform a tech called Superslide which saves much time at the landing from the shortcut and the part after that. Also using King Boo for his high handling status which helps with Superslide.
For 3lap, since its possible to perform the shortcut with only 1 shroom, its also possible to do it on laps 2 and 3 (I assume doing it on lap1 is slower) and the final time would be close to 50 I guess.
The bottom right SPEED shows my moving speed for horizontal axis.

The main timesave over the previous record is from Superhopping, the technique Outward Drifting Bikes can perform allowing us to reach 120 speed by hopping in several ways.
And because it was found that the shortcut could be made using the fence instead of the box, I didnt have to wait for the box cycle on lap3, which saved a lot of time.
