As far as I know, I am the first person to make the shroomless glitch here. I made it with spear and then flame runner first, as you can see on my top 5, but the offroad lost way too much time. Now I finally made it with dolphin dasher, which saved a ridiculous amount of time as I expected; what I did not expect was to actually beat the no-glitch shroomless BKT, a 1:58.675 by Bjorn. As you can see in the comparison, I only beat him by 29 milliseconds, and the offroad stat on the ice is what saved me.
This has enormous potential for improvement, as it could theoretically be done all 5 laps (although it is extremely inconsistent), but the most interesting part is that this could be used in the actual glitch WR, which does 3/5 glitches using a mushroom each time.

MY THOUGHTS:
New bridge strat, worked pretty well I think. I got really lucky lap 1 cuz my wheelie didnt cancel when I fell off the bridge. Other than some minor alignment issues, this is a really good run. Unless this is beaten, I think its safe to say that Im done with this track.

Youve all seen regular Mario Kart Wiis ultra shortcuts... but what about custom tracks? Well, unsurprisingly, many CTs are just as broken as the regular tracks, and some of these shortcuts are so baffling that you have to wonder how anyone even found them! I feel like these times deserve more appreciation, so Ive put together a compilation of glitch records taken from CTGPs time trial leaderboards.
A few things to keep in mind:
- None of these times were set by me, I just recorded the ghosts. All credit goes to the people that set these records (mostly Justin lol).
- All of the glitches shown here will ONLY work in time trials.
- This video is based on CTGP version 1.03.1094, so depending on when youre watching this, some glitches may have been patched or removed (a few of these are noted in the video).
- Glitches that are slower than the no-glitch record will not be included.

I recently learned how to use dolphin, so I figured Id make my first TAS on my favorite ultra shortcut! Theres obviously a lot that can be improved here since Im pretty new to this, but Im happy with how it turned out. I think Im only the second person to TAS this category which means this is probably BKT, but I dont know for sure. Anyway, Ill probably be doing more of these so be on the lookout for that!")
