What? You thought I was going to leave this track without hitting my goal? Yeah right. I may not have uploaded in the past 8 months but that doesn't mean I'm dead. I took my break off this game and moved on to other things. I was still somewhat active on YouTube however, but I just wasn't uploading anything. Since it's summer and I have a bit more free time, I decided to play this game once again. Reminded that I didn't hit my goal here with the 2:16.7 in thought, I decided to push to obtain that goal, but it seems I overachieved and pushed it far beyond what I was expecting. Honestly, I think breaks really help with this game. I got this time in about one hour of playing. Doesn't that say a lot? Maybe it's just the game. Who even knows. All I know is, surprises happen and this was one of the biggest time jumps I've had. First Delfino, now this. That all said, I'm glad to have pushed far beyond my goal and nail something I'm content with for now.

As for the run...
Lap 1 was great. What more can you say about a lap 1 that's less than .030 (.027 to be exact) behind the BKS? 3 great lows, decent driving, and both chains. I do think the turn after the ramp cost the lap from being a .4 though, as that turn was pretty wide. Overall, solid lap and one of the fastest laps I'll probably ever see in a run on this track.

Lap 2 was somewhat dire. The first turn of this lap was played a bit safe after noticing how great my lap 1 was, which cost a bit more time. The main upset were the lows. They may have looked good, but take notice of the bounces I got after the first and third low. Those cost me some time, despite them looking better than an average low. Only the fifth low of this lap was perfect without any errors. Had I not got those bounces, we might've been looking at an easy .4 lap 2 in this run. Last turn was also pretty bad. I released the MT a bit later than usual because, again, I played a bit safe but this also caused me to go too far to the left on the straight, which then made me yank in my wheelie, so I lose quite a bit more time there as well, but I was happy enough to get a chain to save that from dying. Though, a .6 with a chain and a half on lap 2/3 is pretty mediocre in my eyes, but I can't control the bounces on those lows, which were the main time losers in the lap.

Lap 3 was nicely driven. The third turn and turn before lows were a bit wide though and can be brushed up on. The lows, however, were not as good as you think they are. Better than the average, for sure, but take a look, as I get bounces even on the first and second lows, which were good until I got those bounces. They definitely cost me some time there but since I was less nervous on this lap, due to lap 2 being a .6 with those chains, I drove a bit better. The turn after the ramp was also pretty bad, as I took the turn pretty wide, knowing I was on a good pace. Though, one thing I can be proud of was the last turn. I honestly thought I was going to hit it, but that elbow went straight through it. Really nice lap for a chain and a half as well.

My goal has been reached, but if you read this, you're probably going to wonder if I'm going to improve. I may improve sometime, but not now. Although, returning to this track was quite fun and I enjoyed playing it. Though, I'm probably only saying that because I really didn't invest that much time into it (about 3 days) and improved so quickly. Anyways, future plans for this track will come whenever I feel like it. If they don't, then oh well. A 2:16.6 is a great time to leave on. If I return, I'll maybe make .5 or .4 my end goal.
Also, this run was set on my old wii (no working disc drive on the wii) on an iso, which is why the top 5 is different.
