Surprise surprise. I didn't move on from BC3...
This was a category I was neglecting to play a lot for my own intentions but time came around, and I thought to myself that this would be an interesting category to play. Being one of the best BC3 drivers, I decided to play this and I honestly regret that I didn't try this earlier, as I had many good laps and a couple of fails with this category. This is my very first 3/3 run and it just so happens to be WR. Honestly, I'm not surprised. I know I can achieve 1:57 pretty easily. This run has much to work on. There are lot of minor driving mistakes as well as a couple of major ones.

Lap 1 was driven nicely but then, you know, I get bad lows and a bad shortcut. If that weren't bad enough, I had a pretty wide last turn and I missed the first chain on the straight, which is one of the most important chains on the track, aside from the second one.

Lap 2 was going well up until the 4th turn happened, then the driving kinda went down the drain. Lows would've been alright but I got a bounce on the second one, so that was kind of a downer. The shortcut was good though, but then I get another bad last turn. Though, since I got a chain and then a half, the lap was saved.

Lap 3 was just nerves playing its part on me. You can tell after the first turn. The first low was bad, giving me a bounce. The shortcut wasn't great, even though I got the slip from the wall. I was just way too far to the right with it, as I played the shroom kind of safe. The last turn was good. Last straight, missed the first chain, of course, but get a half second chain. I swear, that last chain on each lap is so much easier to get than the first one on the straight.

Overall, a decent run for 4 drops. There were some minor wheelie turns here and there, as well. If I feel up to it, I'll push it to a low 1:57. My best split Lap 1 is 39.122(chain and half) and Lap 2 is 39.278. There's more potential in me for sure. Back in 2015, I've had a 39.393 with every drop and a 39.2 missing the first chain on the straight, while the other two were halves. Don't remember the exact split sadly.
