ancient | [MKW TAS] Mario Circuit Flap (No-Glitch) - 24.138 by Ancient and Kierio @ancientmkw | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 5 hours ago
Watch in 4K60! This is a tool-assisted speedrun (TAS). Played on SwareJonge's Dolphin 5.0 LUA Core v3.2.1. Tools used: slow-down, savestates, frame advance, TAS input, TAS code, RAM watch (info display), LUA scripts, text files and LuigiM's TAS toolkit.
TAS BKT Cut: -0.084

Ah, another fine day in Mario Circuit. I had actually started this a few months ago, and stopped at 24.322 because I lost all my motivation to continue; I didn't really have the correct mindset for TASing, which exhausted me and left me with an unfinished, suboptimal result. However, a couple of weeks ago, I decided to work on it again out of pure boredom. This time I would not repeat the same mistake that I had made earlier: I made sure to optimize each turn before moving onto the next, and in the process, I had discovered many new ways to play the track.
Overall I'm super happy with how this turned out and am glad with the progress I've made as a TASer!
