De alguma forma o planos de God Liu Kang em proteger as almas deu errado, pois algum cientista do lã Lin Kuei descobriu como escravizar as almas e coloca-las nos robôs.
Quem não gostou muito foi Shin Shang Tsung que foi atacado depois disso, para revidar mandou Violent Ken destruir alguns robôs.
Para subir nos próximos desafios foi para Torre Master.
