I've had rough ideas and sprites for a new desert stage for some time, but threw this one together (with some help from Shukk and Dexon) after some outside prodding.
Here you fight in front of an ancient gateway structure located somewhere in Egypt that has been used in secret by sorcerers and holymen for thousands of years as a portal between realms. In my headcanon, this is likely the portal that was used by Shang Tsung and his Shadow Priests for the purposes of locating, exhuming, and resurrecting Sindel's remains.
