Suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi is due in the Germiston Magistrate's Court this morning, where he faces two separate cases. In the first, he will appear alongside several Ekurhuleni officials, including former City Manager Imogen Mashazi, in the ongoing corruption case linked to the blue-lights saga. In the second, Mkhwanazi faces fresh fraud and corruption charges alongside Vusimusi “Cat” Matlala, also linked to the blue-lights saga. Newzroom Afrika’s Veronica Makhoali has more.
