If your mix sounds messy, it’s probably not your plugins. It’s your volume balance (and often sound selection!).

A clean mix usually comes from getting the relationship between sounds right first. Kick slightly above the bass, vocals sitting on top without overpowering, chords supporting instead of masking everything.
